Everyone, Happy New Year! It's been...weeks, since I last updated. Been busy, you know, holidays. I can't believe my two weeks of vacation ends tomorrow already! Darn.

Many of you have probably heard about it, but for those who have not … next Thursday will be "the largest earthquake drill in United States history!". 
 
"The Great Southern California ShakeOut" is based on a magnitude 7.8 earthquake on the San Andreas fault (southern segment).  At 10 a.m. on November 13 (i.e., next Thursday), millions of southern Californians will drop to the ground, take cover under a table or desk, and hold on--

I hope it's just a drill! Or if it really did happen, it won't hurt or effect anyone of my family and friends.
